Don't leave items out. It is natural for your home to become a bit messier or cluttered during the packing process, but be wary of your roaming pets during the process. Items left out are easily knocked over by your mischievous cat or chewed up by man's best friend. Avoid broken goods and a trip to the vet by staying organized.

Be careful with stacked boxes. Haphazardly stacked boxes can be dangerous for pets. A little carefree playtime could result in the boxes tumbling over, injuring your beloved pet. Keep packed items pushed against the wall or in a closed off room until moving day.
